Entering the final week, nine teams remain in the hunt to play in the Big 12 Championship Game, according to the league office.
Arizona State and Iowa State control their destiny. If they both take care of business in their games, they will punch their tickets to Arlington. A loss opens the door for BYU, and so on.

Insider Predictions
- Steve Bartle: Colorado

The Buffs failed big time last week. They dropped one they shouldn’t have. They clearly overlooked Kansas. They don’t make the same mistake this weekend. The Buffs win big. -Bartle
Coach Prime and Buffs live for these national showcase windows. Travis Hunter will put together a dominant performance as Colorado rolls. -Harper
Utah at UCF
- Friday, November 29
- Kickoff: 6 p.m. (MST)
- TV: FOX
Insider Predictions
- Steve Bartle: Utah
- Mitch Harper: UCF
This was always a tough one on the schedule, given the Thanksgiving holiday and travel. UCF has one of the top rushing attacks and Utah is down to QB5. Somehow, someway, ‘The Ferrari’ named Luke Bottari provides an epic surprise performance and leads Utah to a gritty win. -Bartle
RJ Harvey isn’t closing out his time at UCF at home with a loss. -Harper
Kansas at Baylor
- Saturday, November 30
- Kickoff: 10 a.m. (MST)
- TV: ESPN2
Insider Predictions
- Steve Bartle: Kansas
- Mitch Harper: Baylor
Is Rock Chalk Jayhawk good for another surprise win? Yes, sir! -Bartle
I loved the title of “Shadow Big 12 Championship Game” from the Split Zone Duo Podcast for this matchup. Thank you, Lee. It’s a perfect way to describe this game, because both teams are playing great right now. But I’ll say Baylor comes out on top at home. -Harper
West Virginia at Texas Tech
- Saturday, November 30
- Kickoff: 10 a.m. (MST)
- TV: FS1
Insider Predictions
- Steve Bartle: Texas Tech
- Mitch Harper: West Virginia
The Red Raiders have the top offense in the Big 12 and the Mountaineers don’t have the defense to slow them down. Texas Tech wins with a balanced effort. -Bartle
I’ll call for West Virginia to eat up a lot of clock to keep Tech’s offense off the field. The Mountaineers pull off the road upset. -Harper
No. 16 Arizona State at Arizona
- Saturday, November 30
- Kickoff: 1:30 p.m. (MST)
- TV: FOX
Insider Predictions
- Steve Bartle: Arizona State
- Mitch Harper: Arizona State
THE TERRITORIAL CUP!!! One of the more intense rivalries in all of college athletics. These two programs hate each other and are not afraid to show it. This one is going to be fascinating. The Wildcats have experienced a rather disappointing 2024 season. The Sun Devils have been a top-two surprise if not the biggest surprise. Given the emotional win over BYU last week, is there hangover potential? I think not, the rivalry recharges the batteries and Sun Devils get the win. -Bartle
Brent Brennan could erase a lot of disappointment from this season if he knocked Arizona State. ASU’s pass rush was impressive last week, they’ll show up again and create havoc on Noah Fifita. -Harper
TCU at Cincinnati
- Saturday, November 30
- Kickoff: 4 p.m. (MST)
- TV/Stream: ESPN+
Insider Predictions
- Steve Bartle: TCU
- Mitch Harper: Cincinnati
Horned Frogs are rollin’ and they continue their strong play against the Bearcats, who have fallen off after a 5-2 start to the season. -Bartle
Brendan Sorsby has a big game for Cincinnati and the Bearcats punch their ticket to Bowl Season. -Harper
No. 24 Kansas State at No. 18 Iowa State
- Saturday, November 30
- Kickoff: 5:30 p.m. (MST)
- TV: FOX
Insider Predictions
- Steve Bartle: K-State
- Mitch Harper: K-State
FARMAGEDDON. The Wildcats have been rather disappointing this season. They’ve had health on their side and yet have given away way too many games this season, given the expectations coming into the season. But they find a way to knock off the Cyclones because of Big 12 madness. -Bartle
K-State offensive coordinator Conor Riley dropped down to field level to call plays last week in the blowout against Cincinnati. Was that the magic touch to reignite the Wildcat offense? The offensive line sure looked like the K-State O-Lines of the past. I expect more of that in Ames against Iowa State. -Harper
Houston at No. 19 BYU
- Saturday, November 30
- Kickoff: 8:15 p.m. (MST)
- TV: ESPN
Insider Predictions
- Steve Bartle: Houston
- Mitch Harper: BYU
BYU showed a ton of resiliency in the second half of last week’s contest at Arizona State. However, Houston’s defense will keep them in this game. Somehow, someway the Cougars of Houston will find a way to nearly double their scoring in this one to get the win. -Bartle
Houston has the talent to make this a low-scoring game. But I’d be stunned if BYU lost this one. BYU’s offense found new life in the second half in Tempe. That momentum carries over and Houston will not be used to the cold temperatures that await them on Saturday night. BYU by two touchdowns. -Harper
