Utah RB Jaylon Glover Done For Season, To Enter Transfer Portal

SALT LAKE CITY — On Wednesday, Utah running back Jaylon Glover announced that he has elected to sit out the rest of the season and will enter the transfer portal.
His three-game appearances this season allow him to redshirt for the year, which preserves two seasons of eligibility for him.

“I want to say thank you to the University of Utah for welcoming me to my new home with open arms since my arrival. I’ve met and built so many lasting relationships with staff, teammates, and fans. With a heavy heart, my family and I have made a decision that we pray will benefit my future.”
“With that being said, I will be foregoing the remainder of the season and redshirting to sustain my eligibility. I will be entering my name in the transfer portal on Dec. 8th, with two years of eligibility remaining.

Jaylon Glover’s Utah Career
The third-year junior has played in three games this season. He finished the year with 12 carries for 60 yards in three game appearances.
Glover’s career ends after three seasons and 928 yards and 6 touchdowns on 227 carries.
His career-best performance actually came against the Colorado Buffaloes last season, when he finished with 17 carries for 107 yards.
Glover was a highly touted recruit in the 2022 recruiting class. Utah beat out programs like Florida State and Florida among others.
