PROVO, Utah – With BYU’s top two running backs unavailable for the second straight game, true freshman Sione I Moa has proven himself more than capable of being the Cougar’s bell-cow back.
The former Timpview Thunderbird has several big runs as BYU aims to upset No. 13 Kansas State.

Moa has two 20+ yard runs in the second half, including a 21 scamper into the end zone for the first touchdown of his career.
The Victorville, California native leads BYU with 76 yards and a score on 15 carries.

BYU has pulled away since back-to-back turnovers late in the first half gave the Cougars momentum. The Cougars have outscored Kansas State 38-3 since the 2:10 mark of the second quarter.
Jake Retzlaff is 14-of-20 for 148 yards and two TDs. The Cougar defense has held K-State to 180 yards in the second half.
