Utah Football Teases New Black Throwback

SALT LAKE CITY – Utah Football has officially announced and teased a new uniform for the season.

With a set of white and red throwbacks, the Utes will now have a full that now includes a black throwback, which will debut later this season.

The Utes first debuted a throwback uniform during the 2015 season. That set included the white helmet with red interlocking U decals, red top, and white bottoms.

In 2021, Utah added an all-white throwback look, which they wore in the program’s first-ever win in The Coliseum. They later wore the throwbacks in the program’s first-ever trip to the Rose Bowl as well. In 2022, Utah added a red helmet to the throwback repertoire, which they debuted in their return trip to the Rose Bowl.

With the black throwback uniforms, Utah now almost has a complete set of retro tops and bottoms. All that is missing are red throwback pants to complete the full set.
