SALT LAKE CITY – The Reese’s Senior Bowl announced the 2024 preseason watch list on Wednesday, including 13 draft-eligible University of Utah Football players.
That is the top representation among Big 12 Conference members. Arizona, Colorado, and UCF each have 11 on the list, while ASU and Kansas each have 10 representatives.

The Utes 13-deep cohort is comprised of 12 seniors and one junior. The 2025 edition of the Senior Bowl is the second year that all draft-eligible players are eligible to be selected for the game. This is also the first year that underclassmen were included on the watchlist.

The list of Utah players includes Cameron Rising, Micah Bernard, Mycah Pittman, Dorian Singer, Brant Kuithe, Jaren Kump, Junior Tafuna, Connor O’Toole, Aliki Vimahi, Karene Reid, Alaka’i Gilman, and Zemaiah Vaughn.
Meanwhile, Lander Barton is the only third-year player included on Utah’s list.
The Utes have steadily increased their presence on the Senior Bowl Watch List over the years. With 13 on the list, that is up from last year’s 10 that were on last year’s watchlist. Ultimately, Cole Bishop, Sione Vaki, Keaton Bills, and Sataoa Laumea were invited to the event.
Significance of the Reese’s Senior Bowl
The Reese’s Senior Bowl is considered the premier college football all-star game. It serves as a starting point for the NFL Draft process. It’s also a significant indicator of an individual’s draft stock. 110 players who participated in the event last year were selected in the 2024 NFL Draft, making up 43% of all draft selections.
The entire watch list of the 2025 NFL Draft features 859 prospects, including the 13 Utah Football players. That’s a big increase from last year’s 2024 list of hopefuls, which featured 720 prospects, and 10 prospects from Utah specifically.
The big reason for the increase is the NFL changed eligibility rules for postseason all-star games last November. That has allowed draft-eligible underclassmen to participate in them.
