SALT LAKE CITY – The NHL announced that Utah Hockey Club will host the Chicago Blackhawks for the franchise’s first-ever home opener.
The league released the matchups and dates for each team’s home opener on Monday, July 1.

Utah will host the Blackhawks for its first regular season game at the Delta Center. Utah HC will host Chicago on October 8.

In addition to Utah’s home opener, the Anaheim Ducks, New York Islanders, and New York Rangers will host the league’s newest franchise for their home openers.
Utah will play at the Islanders on October 10, at the Rangers on October 12, and at the Ducks on October 16.
The NHL plans to release the full regular season schedule for every team on July 2.

Utah Hockey Club will open its 2024 preseason schedule against the St. Louis Blues at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines, Iowa on September 22.
The team’s first preseason game at home will be against the LA Kings a day later on September 23.
Utah will begin its inaugural season as an NHL team in the fall. The team will play its home games at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City.
