Utah Royals FC, KC Current Kickoff Delayed Due To Inclement Weather

SALT LAKE CITY – Kickoff in the match between the Utah Royals FC and KC Current was delayed on Saturday due to rain and lightning in the area.
The match was originally scheduled to kick off at 8:10 p.m. (MST) but was moved to 8:40 p.m. to allow the storm to pass.
Our match vs KC Current is currently in a delay due to inclement weather.

The Royals come into the matchup on a four-game losing streak. Utah is also winless in its last eight matches with the club’s sole win coming against the North Carolina Courage in the second game of the season.
The Kansas City Current find themselves on the opposite end of the spectrum. They are one of two undefeated teams left in the NWSL this season.
However, they have just one win in the month of May accompanied by three draws.

The Royals will need some more home-field magic at a slightly later kick-off time as they look for three points against Kansas City.
