SALT LAKE CITY – KSL Sports Rewind wrapped up the 5A boys basketball tournament with a recap of the championship game at the Dee Events Center in Ogden.

Dusty Litster and Dane Stewart of KSL Sports Rewind recapped the 5A championship game between the Alta Hawks and Timpview Thunderbirds. Alta defeated Timpview 64-53 to win their first state championship in 13 years. KSL Sports Rewind caught up with Jaxon Johnson, Carter Doleac, Ace Reiser, and head coach Travis Ohrn.

Doleac led the Hawks with 24 points in the state title game. Johnson finished with a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds. Reiser added nine points.
