SALT LAKE CITY – Utah Jazz guard Collin Sexton will miss the final four games of the team’s current six-game road trip due to his most recent hamstring injury.
The Jazz announced that the guard would miss at least another week of games before being reevaluated next Monday.
The team has dropped two games against the Oklahoma City Thunder to open the road trip and will face the Dallas Mavericks, Orlando Magic, Charlotte Hornets, and Miami Heat before returning home next week.
Per the @utahjazz:
Collin Sexton (left hamstring strain) is continuing treatment and progressing as expected. He will remain OUT and will be reevaluated in one week.

Collin Sexton Hamstring Injury
Sexton originally suffered the injury in the first quarter of the team’s loss to the Memphis Grizzlies on February 15 and hasn’t been in uniform since.
Sexton did participate in the Skills Challenge over All-Star weekend, helping Jazz teammates Jordan Clarkson and Walker Kessler win the event.
The Jazz are 2-3 without Sexton in the lineup since returning from the All-Star break but have received strong play from the recently signed Kris Dunn.
Dunn joined the Jazz on a 10-day contract coming out of the All-Star break, and quickly found his way into the team’s rotation.
Will Hardy on Kris Dunn tonight:
"I think he's getting more and more comfortable on the offensive end understanding our system — where his opportunities to score are, what the reads are that he has to make as a primary ball handler to get his teammates involved,"

The veteran guard is averaging 13.0 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 4.2 assists in five appearances, including an impressive 17 point, two rebound, three assist outing in Sunday’s loss to the Thunder.
Sexton has been a reliable backup for the Jazz in 47 appearances this season.
The Alabama product is averaging 14.3 points, 2.9 assists, and 2.2 rebounds while shooting an efficient 50 percent from the floor and 41 percent from the three-point line.
Sexton was acquired by the Jazz in the Donovan Mitchell blockbuster last summer and is under contract with the team through 2026.
Lauri Markkanen is not on the Jazz’s latest injury report after missing Sunday’s loss in Oklahoma City with a back injury.
