Former Layton High Standout, Super Bowl Champ Signs With Commanders

SALT LAKE CITY – Former Layton Lancers standout and recent Super Bowl champion Marcus Kemp signed with the Washington Commanders.
The Commanders announced the addition of Kemp to their roster on Friday, March 3.
Kemp was a member of the Kansas City Chiefs when they won Super Bowl LVII in February.
“Kemp returned to the Chiefs for a third time and caught a pass in the AFC Championship against the Cincinnati Bengals. After the Chiefs’ Super Bowl win, the team did not sign Kemp to a futures contract, which allowed the Commanders to sign him before the start of the new league year,” Zach Selby wrote for Commanders.com.
