Report: Former Olympus High Standout Cameron Latu Won’t Do Drills At NFL Combine
SALT LAKE CITY – Former Olympus High and Alabama tight end Cameron Latu won’t participate in drills at the 2023 NFL Scouting Combine, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
The Combine takes place from February 27-March 6 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana.
On Saturday, March 4, the day that tight ends took part in drills, the NFL insider shared the news about Latu.

The Chrisholm, Minnesota native moved to Salt Lake City in 2013. He went to Olympus High and had a standout prep career with the Titans. In 2018, Latu began attending the University of Alabama. He redshirted his true freshman season and played on special teams the following season.
In 2021, Latu had a breakout season for the Crimson Tide with eight touchdowns. He finished his career at Alabama with 56 receptions for 787 yards and 12 touchdowns.

Although he didn’t participate in drills at the league’s Scouting Combine, the former Titan had the following measurements at the event:
Height: 6 feet 4 inches
Weight: 242 lbs.
Arm: 32 and 3/8 inches
Hand: 9 and 1/2 inches

About the Combine
Athletes at the event will participate in multiple workouts and evaluations to test their ability to perform in the NFL. These are the workouts that players will undergo at the NFL Combine:
- 40-yard dash
- Bench press
- Vertical jump
- Broad jump
- Three-cone drill
- 20-yard shuttle
- 60-yard shuttle
