Weber State’s Jones Receives Fifth Player of Week Honor This Season
OGDEN, Utah – Dillon Jones secured the final Big Sky Player of the Week for the 2022-2023 regular season.
It is Jones’ fifth time receiving the honor this year.

In the last three games, Jones averaged 22 points, 11.3 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and shot 61% from the field.
The Wildcats went 2-1 in those games, only losing to the Big Sky’s No. 1 seed Eastern Washington Eagles.

Weber State will take on the Sacramento State Hornets in the upcoming Big Sky tournament.

The Wildcats defeated the Hornets in both of their regular season matchups this season.
However, fans can expect a good game come tournament time. The two regular season games were decided by a combined 5 points.
Weber State’s last game closed the season off in a memorable way. WSU went to overtime against the Northern Arizona Lumberjacks.
Dillon Jones converted an and-one in the final minute of overtime after knifing through the Lumberjack defense. The play gave WSU the lead with 20 seconds remaining.
