Red Rocks Come Up Short To ASU After Issues On Vault
TEMPE, AZ – The Red Rocks came up short against Arizona State for the first time in 20 years after having back-to-back weeks with vault issues.
The Red Rocks had a strong opening on bars against the Sun Devils posting a 49.500 and then closed strong on floor with a 49.375 and beam with a 49.700, but in the end, it wasn’t enough to make up for their 48.925 on vault. It would be the second week in a row Utah only scored a 48-team score on the event which was ultimately the difference in ASU’s 197.550-197.500 victory over the Utes.
