NBA All-Star Events Saturday In Utah
SALT LAKE CITY – NBA All-Star Weekend is officially underway in Utah on Saturday with a full day of events throughout the city.
The All-Star weekend will run from Friday through Sunday in Salt Lake City with ticketed and free events on each day.
Here’s a look at the All-Star events for Saturday if you’re in Utah.

Ice Buckets At Trolley Square – Free Event
A 10-minute drive from downtown Salt Lake City, the ‘Ice Buckets’ Challenge at Trolley Square offers fans 30 seconds to make as many shots as possible on five hoops. Tickets, merchandise, and more prizes are on the line!

The Ice Buckets are open on Saturday from 10 a.m.- 8 p.m. and on Sunday from noon-5 p.m.
Trolley Square also features a series of sit-down restaurants and casual shopping.

Walker Kessler Starry Appearance At Walmart
To celebrate NBA All-Star 2023, STARRY, the official soft drink of the NBA, is bringing the game off the court to Walmart on Saturday, February 18 from 11:30 a.m.-1:30pm with a special appearance from NBA center, Walker Kessler.

GRIT Rail Jam at the Gateway Olympic Plaza – Free Event
Located directly west of Vivint Arena, the Grit Rail Jam is a free event featuring some of the best snowboarders from around the planet.
On Saturday, top pros will compete on the rails from 3-6 p.m. at the Gateway Olympic Plaza.

The Gateway is also offering unique pop-up shops for All-Star weekend beginning on Friday from 10 a.m.-8 p.m.
The shops include Cactus Jack, MRKT, StockX, The Webster Miami, CounterPoint, and Mitchell & Ness featuring SLAM and Thrifthood.
The Gateway also offers a dining hall, sit-down restaurants, and casual shopping.

Barkley, Tatum, Wilson At J. Dawgs At City Center
Hall of Famer Charles Barkley, Boston Celtics All-Star Jayson Tatum, and WNBA superstar A’Ja Wilson will be at J Dawgs downtown beginning 1 p.m.
J Dawgs offers gourmet hot dogs and polish dogs.

NBA All-Star Practice At Jon M. Huntsman Center
Tickets Required For Entry
The NBA’s All-Star rosters will practice together on Saturday on the University of Utah Campus in preparation for Sunday’s game.
The event offers a behind-the-scenes look at NBA players as they prepare to take center stage at the All-Star Game.

The Jon M. Huntsman Center is a 10-15 minute drive from downtown Salt Lake City and can be easily accessed using UTA Trax or by UTA Bus.

NBA Crossover At The Salt Palace Convention Center
Tickets Required For Entry
Located two blocks east of Vivint Arena, the NBA Crossover will be held at the Salt Palace Convention Center from Friday through Sunday.
The event will “engage fans in its largest footprint to date with immersive experiences, brand activations, live performances, NBA and WNBA appearances, limited edition merchandise and collectibles, art and memorabilia, apparel customization and more,” according to the league.

Tickets for the event start at $40 for adults and $20 for children under the age of 12. Fans can purchase tickets through the NBA Events app and NBAEvents.com.
The NBA Crossover will run from 12 p.m.-8 p.m. throughout the weekend.

NBA HBCU Classic at Jon M. Huntsman Center
Tickets Required For Entry
At 2 p.m., the NBA x HBCU Classic will take place at the Jon M. Huntsman Center on the University of Utah campus.
The Grambling State University and Southern University men’s basketball programs have been selected to play in the HBCU Classic.

All-Star Saturday Night features three events with the Skills Challenge, the 3-point Contest, and the Dunk Contest.

Grammy-award winner Pitbull will perform on Saturday at the Salt Palace Convention Center.
The event is scheduled to begin at 9 p.m.
