Ryan Smith Shares Inside Peek At Vivint Arena All-Star Court

SALT LAKE CITY – Utah Jazz owner Ryan Smith and the NBA shared previews of the court inside Vivint Arena for All-Star weekend.

The All-Star weekend begins on Friday, February 17 in Salt Lake City and runs through February 19.

In a tweet from Smith, you can see the 2023 NBA All-Star logo at center court, and the stage where players will be introduced, and musical guests will perform.

The stage features three enormous screens behind one of the baskets, while several rows have been cleared out on the sidelines to make room for the weekend’s events.

The NBA also shared a larger overview of the arena and floor, including the different lighting displays that will appear during the events.

“The court is colored in honor of the host team, the Utah Jazz,” the league announced. “It is largely black and white, but features bold yellow accents and is stylized to showcase the transformation of the region into a global hub for technology.”

The 2023 All-Star logo shows Utah’s mountainous landscape and features five mountain peaks to represent the five players taking the floor for each team during Sunday’s game.

NBA Unveils All-Star Jerseys

In January, the NBA unveiled the jerseys the league’s top players will wear during the All-Star Game.

Along with the starters for the Eastern and Western Conferences, the All-Star jerseys were released on TNT Thursday night.

The All-Star jerseys both feature a gradient pattern, one changing from red on the shoulders to yellow at the waistline, and another beginning blue on the shoulders and fading to black at the waist.

The red and yellow uniforms resemble the Jazz past city jerseys highlighting the bright colors of northern Utah to the red rocks in the south.

LeBron James and Giannis Antetokounmpo were named the captains of the two All-Star teams, but it is unclear which player will wear which uniform.
