Runnin’ Utes Announce Removal Of Upper Bowl Curtains
SALT LAKE CITY – The Runnin’ Utes are lifting the upper bowl curtains from the Huntsman Center for their upcoming home games against UCLA and USC that will finish out the 2023 regular season.
After a few years of being down and lots of less-than-favorable conversations surrounding them, the men’s basketball team has done enough this season to warrant re-opening the upper bowl to fans once again.
Tickets for the upper bowl of the Huntsman Center are immediately available for sale ($5 general admission) for the Utes’ final two home games against the SoCal schools on February 23 and February 25 before the team head down to Las Vegas for the Pac-12 Tournament.

Heading In The Right Direction
Utah head coach Craig Smith has the Utes heading in the right direction in year two sitting solely in third place in the Pac-12 with a 17-9 overall record and 10-5 conference record. This is a massive improvement from Smith’s first year where the team finished 11-20 overall and 4-16 in Pac-12 Conference play.
The Utes will be heading out on the road this weekend to take on No. 8 Arizona and Arizona State before turning their attention back home to close out the regular season. Utah sits one game behind the Wildcats and have a one-game lead over the Sun Devils in the Pac-12 standings meaning they control their own destiny.
Utah is currently back on track after a bit of a slide when Gabe Madsen was hurt against Oregon a few weeks back. Since then, the Runnin’ Utes have reworked themselves and gone on a two-game winning streak that they hope to continue in Arizona this weekend.
