PORTLAND – In a match against the Utah Jazz on Wednesday, former Weber State Wildcat Damian Lillard put up 60 points on 72% from the field.

Lillard was all over the court for Portland. Along with his 60 points, Lillard added 7 rebounds, 8 assists, and 3 steals.
He shot 21 for 29 from the field and 9/15 from three.

Lillard scored from all three levels all night long. He was constantly knifing through the Jazz’s defense for easy looks at the rim.

The Jazz held an 11-point lead at the beginning of the second quarter. Thanks to Lillard’s heroics, that lead was dropped to 2 by the half.

Lillard went ballistic in the third quarter. He scored 20-straight points for Portland, 24 total in the quarter, to give him 50 points. But, there was still 12 minutes of basketball to be played.

The 60-point game was a season-high for Lillard. He was also one-point shy of tying his career-high, 61.
