SALT LAKE CITY – Former Utah Utes and current Baltimore Ravens quarterback Tyler Huntley is day-to-day with shoulder and wrist injuries but is progressing in his recovery ahead of Super Wild Card Weekend of the NFL Playoffs.
After not throwing in practice on January 11 and the week before Baltimore’s regular-season finale, Huntley threw passes on Thursday, January 12.
“He’ll throw as much as he’s ready to throw from one day to the next,” Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said on Wednesday. Harbaugh added that Huntley was “on schedule” in his recovery.

Huntley was sidelined in Week 18 because of the injury.
His recovery is key to Baltimore’s potential playoff success as the Ravens will be without former NFL MVP Lamar Jackson during the opening round of the postseason. Jackson, who has played in over a month, detailed his knee injury in a tweet on January 12.
“There is still inflammation surrounding my knee and my knee remains unstable,” Jackson wrote. “I wish I could be out there with my guys more than anything, but I can’t give a 100% of myself to my guys and fans. I’m still hopeful we have a chance.”
remains unstable. I’m still in good spirits, as I continue with treatments on the road to recovery. I wish I could be out there with my guys more than anything but I can’t give a 100% of myself to my guys and fans I’m still hopeful we still have a chance. 💜💜
