LaVine, DeRozan Shine As Bulls Down Jazz

SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah Jazz were unable to build off their win in Houston after falling to the Chicago Bulls 126-118.
Lauri Markkanen scored 28 while Ochai Agbaji scored a career-high 19, but it wasn’t enough in the Windy City.
The Bulls were led by Zach LaVine who scored 36 while DeMar DeRozan added 35.
First Quarter
The Jazz opened the game shooting 0-7 from the floor and found themselves down 8-0 four minutes into the game.
After the slow start, the Jazz defense dialed forcing turnovers and getting out in transition turning three takeaways into eight quick points.

Lauri Markkanen got the Jazz offense going with three first quarter dunks en route to six points.
After one the Jazz trailed the Bulls 28-24.
Second Quarter
Ochai Agbaji picked up where he left on in Thursday’s win over the Houston Rockets knocking down three three-point attempts in the second quarter.
After the Jazz took a six point lead, the Bulls strung together a 13-3 run to close the quarter to regain their lead.

Markkanen led the Jazz with 14 first half points while Zach LaVine had 17 for Chicago.
At the half, the Jazz trailed the Bulls 53-49.
Third Quarter
After falling behind 69-65, the Jazz used a 9-0 run midway through the quarter to take a 74-69 lead.
Jordan Clarkson scored 11 points in the third after scoring just three points in the first half.

Jarred Vanderbilt had 13 points and 14 rebounds through three, while the Bulls got 24 points from LaVine.
After three the Jazz led the Bulls 89-84.
Fourth Quarter
Agbaji scored six quick points to open the fourth quarter and set a new career-high with 19 points to push the Jazz lead to seven, 97-90.
The Bulls answered with a 21-6 run to take a 111-103 lead over the Jazz at the six minute mark.

Markkanen finished with 28 while LaVine and DeMar DeRozan finished with 71 combined points to lead the Bulls.
The Jazz fell in Chicago 126-118.
