Tyler Huntley Throws TD Pass, Gives Ravens Halftime Lead On Sunday Night Football

SALT LAKE CITY – Former Utah Utes and current Baltimore Ravens quarterback Tyler Huntley tossed a touchdown pass to give his team a halftime lead over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday Night Football.
The Ravens hosted the Steelers at M&T Bank Stadium on New Year’s Day, Sunday, January 1.
With seven seconds left in the first half, Baltimore was gifted a first down thanks to a penalty by Pittsburgh. Huntley took advantage and hit Isaiah Likely for seven yards and six points.

Huntley’s pass resulted in the game’s first touchdown and put Baltimore ahead, 10-3.

Huntley’s pass capped an 11-play, 62-yard drive that took 3:23.
The Ravens took the seven-point advantage into the locker room at halftime.
At the break, Huntley was 7/9 passing for 41 yards and a touchdown. He also had five carries for 20 yards.

Entering Week 17, the former Utah standout had thrown for 528 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions this season. He’d also recorded 113 yards and one touchdown on the ground.
The Ravens entered the contest with a 10-5 record, including 5-2 at home.

About Tyler Huntley
Before his in the NFL, Huntley was a standout player at the University of Utah. He played for the Utes from 2016-19. During his Utah career, the Dania, Florida native threw for 7,351 yards, 46 touchdowns, and 20 interceptions with a 67 percent completion rate.
Huntley signed with the Ravens after going undrafted following the 2020 NFL Draft.
He’s spent the majority of his time in Baltimore as the backup to Jackson.
Prior to Sunday Night Football against the Steelers, Huntley had thrown for 1,624 yards, four touchdowns, and six interceptions. He’d also run for 430 yards and three touchdowns during his three seasons with the Ravens.
Huntley will be a free agent after the season.
