Ravens QB Tyler Huntley Throws First Touchdown Pass Of 2022 Season

SALT LAKE CITY – Former Utah Utes and current Baltimore Ravens quarterback Tyler Huntley tossed his first touchdown pass of the 2022 NFL season during Week 16.
The Ravens hosted the Falcons at M&T Bank Stadium on Christmas Eve, Saturday, December 24.
With 2:23 remaining in the first half, the former Utah signal-caller connected with Demarcus Robinson for a six-yard score for Baltimore’s first touchdown of the game. It was also Huntley’s first throwing score of the season. After the TD, Huntley kept the ball and ran into the end zone for a successful two-point conversion.

The touchdown capped a 13-play, 70-yard drive that took 6:46 off the clock.
After the plays, Huntley was 7/12 passing for 93 yards and a touchdown. He also had six carries for 28 yards.
In three games played this season, Huntley has thrown for 413 yards and two interceptions with a 70.3 percent completion rate. He’s also run the ball 25 times for 87 yards and a touchdown.

During Huntley’s first two starts, the Ravens went 1-1. In his last start, the Ravens fell to the Cleveland Browns, 13-3. Huntley went 17/30 passing for 138 yards and an interception.
The Ravens entered the Week 16 contest sitting in second place in the AFC North division with a 9-5 record this season.

About Tyler Huntley
Before his in the NFL, Huntley was a standout player at the University of Utah. He played for the Utes from 2016-19. During his Utah career, the Dania, Florida native threw for 7,351 yards, 46 touchdowns, and 20 interceptions with a 67 percent completion rate.
Huntley signed with the Ravens after going undrafted following the 2020 NFL Draft.
He’s spent the majority of his time in Baltimore as the backup to Jackson.

During his three seasons with the Ravens, Huntley has thrown for 1,509 yards, three touchdowns, and six interceptions. He’s also run for 404 yards and three touchdowns.
Huntley will be a free agent after the season.
