Utah Tech Announces 2023 Football Schedule

ST. GEORGE, Utah – The Utah Tech Trailblazers released their 2023 football schedule which will begin on Saturday, September 2 on the road.
In 2023, Utah Tech will play against teams in the WAC and the ASUN conferences as the two football conferences united to form a new nine-team ASUN-WAC Conference.
The ASUN-WAC football partnership began when the two conferences built an ASUN-WAC Challenge in 2021. The teams that will be included in this conference includes Utah Tech Abilene Christian, Austin Peay, Central Arkansas, Eastern Kentucky, North Alabama, Southern Utah, Stephen F. Austin, and Tarleton State.
UTRGV will join the conference in the fall of 2025 when they begin sponsorship of football.

Last season, Utah Tech finished with a 4-7 record and 2-2 in WAC play. They beat Chadron State, Stephen F. Austin, Southern Utah, and Tarleton State. Their losses came against Sacramento State, Weber State, Southern Utah, Abilene Christian, Northern Iowa, Sam Houston, and BYU.
Utah Tech’s 2023 Football Schedule
The Trailblazers will begin the season on Saturday, September 2 on the road against FCS semifinalist Montana State before their home opener on Saturday, September 9 against Montana.
Utah Tech will then hit the road for three-straight games beginning on Saturday, September 16 against Northern Arizona, Saturday, September 23 versus Missouri State, and Saturday, September 30 against Colorado State.
The Trailblazers will open ASUN-WAC play on Saturday, October 7 when they host Stephen F. Austin. Then they will travel to North Alabama on Saturday, October 21 before returning to Greater Zion Stadium to host Eastern Kentucky on Saturday, October 28.
The month of November will begin with a game on the fourth at Abilene Christian. Utah Tech will then head to Tennessee to face Austin Peay on Saturday, November 11. The regular season will conclude with their rivalry game at home against Southern Utah on Saturday, November 18.
Start times for games will be announced at a later date.
