SALT LAKE CITY-Β The Utah women were on the move again, this time at home in the Huntsman Center as they hosted their first Pac-12 opponent in Colorado. Women’s basketball for the Utes currently sit at No. 13 in the country and undefeated after beating rival BYU last weekend. Their 85-58 win today against the Buffaloes will obviously help them to continue plowing forward in the women’s basketball hierarchy for the 2022-2023 season.

The Utes struggled to gain momentum in the first quarter appearing to be taken aback by Colorado’s physicality. Utah ultimately played through the early frustration and started to pull ahead in the second quarter, never looking back.
Utah By The Numbers, Remains Undefeated
The Utes had another solid outing shooting posting up 57% from the field and 90% from the free throw line. Shooting the three was lower than usual at 40% but was enough to get the job done.
Alissa Pili was the top dog once more in scoring posting up 25 points on the Buffaloes.
Utah also posted a solid night rebounding and assisting on shots with 27 and 22 respectively.
