SALT LAKE CITY – The Baltimore Ravens activated former Utah Utes safety Marcus Williams from the team’s Injured Reserve list to the 53-man active roster ahead of Week 14.
The transaction occurred on Saturday, December 10.
Williams was placed on Injured Reserve in early October after he suffered a dislocated wrist during Baltimore’s 19-17 win over the Cincinnati Bengals on October 9.
A day after Baltimore’s win, Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said that Williams would land on the team’s Injured Reserve. He added that the injury wasn’t considered season-ending.
“It’ll be a significant amount of time,” Harbaugh said of the timetable for Williams’ return to action.
If Williams plays in Baltimore’s next game, it will have been 63 days between games played for the former Utah standout. Williams returned to practice in late November.
