SALT LAKE CITY- Once again it looks like the Utes will have a very good showing in Las Vegas for the Pac-12 Championship on Friday. Utah Athletics announced Tuesday around noon they have sold out their allotment of Pac-12 Championship tickets and thanked fans for their enthusiasm and support of Utah football.
Due to extremely high demand, we are now sold out of our allotment of tickets for the #Pac12FCG.
THANK YOU for your amazing support all season!!
A friendly reminder to keep those tix in the hands of Ute fans! 🙌#GoUtes pic.twitter.com/irF5mHN1lA

Breaking Down The Numbers
What KSL Sports has been able to learn from Utah Athletics so far is that how this is all coming together is much different than it was a year before. Obviously, that statement makes sense when you consider the Utes knew they were going to the Pac-12 Championship two weeks in advance in 2021 versus six days in advance in 2022.
Even with the fluidity of the current situation, and final numbers coming in, it is looking good for Utah to have another strong presence in Vegas.
What Utah Athletics could share in the moment is they were allotted 3,900 tickets just like the year before and they are all sold just like they were the previous year.

What remains unknown at the moment is how many Ute fans have gone straight through the Pac-12 or secondary markets for tickets. Purely based off of the sales the athletic department has seen with their own allotment though, it would seem there has been a big demand once more.
Earning A Reputation
The Utes are starting to earn a reputation for traveling well and showing enthusiasm not only for what Utah football does, but college football in general.
Last season, Utah fans made the Pac-12 Championship Game a home game for the Utes against Oregon with it sounding like they will at least hold their own with USC in 2022. Utah was also impressive at the Rose Bowl and the Swamp, with both Ohio State and Florida fans noting Utah fans traveled well, while being as loud, and passionate about their team as they’d ever seen outside of their own footprints.
