Local Players Participate In NFL’s 2022 ‘My Cause My Cleats’ Campaign

SALT LAKE CITY – Multiple locals NFL players participated in the league’s My Cause My Cleats campaign for the 2022 season.

#MyCauseMyCleats

This season, local NFL players chose to join the campaign and will wear customized cleats in Week 13 to support their cause or organization of choice.

“NFL players reveal their passions beyond the game and wear their hearts on their feet through My Cause My Cleats,” NFL.com describes the campaign. “Players have the opportunity to pick a cause that is important to them and represent their chosen organization on custom designed cleats.”

Here are the local players participating in the campaign and what cause they are supporting:

Former Utah Utes

Leki Fotu – Defensive Lineman – Arizona Cardinals (4-8)

Cause/Organization: American Diabetes Association

Jaylon Johnson – Cornerback – Chicago Bears (3-9)

Cause/Organization: Kevvys Vision Project (Goal: “empower and motivate underprivileged communities while giving them equal opportunities to succeed.”)

Garett Bolles – Offensive Line – Denver Broncos (3-8)

Cause/Organization: GB3 Foundation (Goal: “empower children and youth with learning disabilities to find success through mentors in educational strategies, spiritual and mental wellbeing, whole body nutrition and physical health for the purpose of equipping them to live their dream.”)

Tim Patrick – Wide Receiver – Denver Broncos (3-8)

Cause/Organization: Sarcoma Foundation of America and Marvin W. Foote Youth Services Center

Julian Blackmon – Safety – Indianapolis Colts (4-7-1)

Cause/Organization: Kicking the Stigma – Indianapolis Colts Foundation (Goal: “‘Kick the Stigma’ around mental health and encourage anyone battling these illnesses to seek the help they need.”

Cause/Organization: Wounded Warrior Project (Goal: “helps veterans and active duty service members.”
