SALT LAKE CITY – Former Utah State and current Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love impressed during limited action against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday Night Football.
The Eagles hosted the Packers at Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday, November 27.
After Packers starting quarterback Aaron Rodgers suffered an oblique injury late in the third quarter, Love entered the game to lead Green Bay’s offense in the fourth quarter. When the former Aggie signal-caller stepped onto the field, the Packers were trailing by two scores.

After the Eagles went down the field and added a field goal to their total, Love and the Packers’ offense took the field down 10 points as the game neared the two-minute warning.
Following a couple of nice throws, the Packers connected on a field goal to make it a one-score game again.
Philadelphia recovered the subsequent onside kick and was able to run the clock out to end the game.
Although he wasn’t able to lead the Packers to a comeback victory, Love showed some stuff during his time on the gridiron.

Green Bay’s next game is on the road against the Chicago Bears (3-9) on Sunday, December 4 at 11 a.m. (MDT) on FOX.
Prior to the Week 12 game against the Eagles, Rodgers revealed that he’s played most of the season with a broken thumb. Now with an oblique injury, Green Bay may rest Rodgers and start Love in the Windy City matchup with the Bears.
