After tabulating some of the upsets, both in and out of conference, Utah jumps up to No. 12 in the AP Top 25. The Utes’ latest come up sets up a big showdown later in the week in Las Vegas against USC who comes in at No. 4 and poised for a run at the College Football Playoff if they can get through the one team who beat them this season.
Taking A Look At The Rest Of The Pac-12
Utah and USC aside, the rest of the Pac-12 continues to show well in 2022. Oregon State moves up to No. 16 after playing rival Oregon tough and upsetting them. As a subsequent result, the Ducks move down to No. 15 for not having quite enough juice. UCLA stayed at No. 17 for handling Cal, while Washington also moves up to No. 9 after a big win over Washington State in the Apple Cup.
Once all of the conference championship games are settled, the Pac-12 will have seven bowl- eligible teams representing the conference in post-season play.
