SALT LAKE CITY- The Utes had about a 15% chance of making the Pac-12 Championship Game after an ugly, close loss to Oregon just a week ago. It turns out a 15% chance was really all they needed. Utah is going back to the Pac-12 Championship Game on December 2 to take on USC- a team they have already beaten once this season.

Utah Takes The Scenic Route There
With Utah’s loss to the Ducks the week before they needed a few things to fall their way.
One, UCLA needed to beat Cal. Done.
Two, Oregon State needed to take out Oregon. It was close, but the Beavers prevailed.
Three, Utah needed to win their game against Colorado. With ease.
Four, Washington needed to beat Washington State for the Apple Cup. It was a little touch and go, but the Huskies took care of it.
The fourth piece of the path to the Pac-12 Championship Game for Utah didn’t resolve itself until close to midnight local time leaving social media buzzing all day Saturday as to what would happen with ultimate euphoria for Utah erupting early Sunday morning.
The Utes Are Heading To Vegas Again
Naturally, it’s fun to take a look at how Utah (and other Pac-12) social media is handling the excitement of heading to Las Vegas later this week to take on USC at Allegiant Stadium on Friday. Once again, against all odds, the Utes pulled through and could once more hoist the Pac-12 Championship Trophy, but let’s not get too ahead of ourselves right now and just enjoy the journey there.

The apple cup just got much bigger for us.
Although we are eliminated from the Pac-12 championship, a win tonight would eliminate Oregon from contention and put Utah in.
Let’s beat Oregon twice this year baby— Barstool Huskies (@Barstoolhuskies) November 27, 2022

I could not care less about the "how" of getting to the Pac 12 Championship game. Miss me with the "trip and fall in" takes.

Pac-12 rivalries are so underrated nationally.
Oregon-Washington, USC-UCLA, Apple Cup, Civil War, Territorial Cup, Big Game, USC-ND, Utah-BYU, Utah versus your championship hopes.

Huskies, and Beavers, and Bruins… oh, my!
Our Utah Utes are headed to their fourth-consecutive Pac-12 Championship game to take on USC.
For Utah: a chance to repeat as conference champs.
For USC: a ticket to the CFP.
Friday can’t come soon enough. #GoUtes

In the 11 years of Pac-12 divisions, the North went 9-2 in the Championship Game. The first year without features 2 teams from the South. 🤷

Losing to Oregon State and then having the Huskies win on the road to put the final nail in Oregon's Pac-12 championship game hopes….it's been a rough day for duck fans.

Idk about you guys but I feel like a team who feels entitled to the Pac 12 championship game vs a team who didn’t think they’d be there is prime for an incredible outcome.🤞🏼

Pac-12 should definitely brand the Conference Championship as the Last One In v. First One Out Bowl.
