SALT LAKE CITY- Both Dalton Kincaid and Tavion Thomas have recently made some decisions as to what they will be doing once the 2022 football season comes to a close. Kincaid accepted an invitation from the Reese’s Senior Bowl and Thomas from the East-West Shrine Bowl on Wednesday before Thanksgiving.
Utah Tight End Dalton Kincaid
Kincaid intends to play in the Reese’s Senior Bowl held annually in Mobile, Alabama. The 2023 prep week and game will run through January 30, 2023- February 4, 2023.

Kincaid will join the recent ranks of T.J. Pledger, Leki Fotu, Francis Bernard, Terrell Burgess, and Bradlee Anae among others as Utes to participate in the prestigious post-season bowl for out-going seniors heading to the NFL.
Executive Director Jim Nagy has been high on Utah’s pair of tight ends (Brant Kuithe being the other) since last season. There is some question as to whether Kuithe will be back or not for the Utes due to a season-ending injury, but Kincaid is in a position to move on and showcase his talent.
Utah Running Back Tavion Thomas
Thomas was extended an invite to play in the East-West Shrine Bowl after a stellar performance against Stanford two weeks back. The talented tight end hasn’t seen as much action for Utah in 2022 as most expected due to personal and other reasons not disclosed by the program.
Still, Thomas has done enough in his two years at Utah to peak the NFL’s interest and participating in the East-West Shrine Bowl could go a long way to determining what he does after Utah.

Last season offensive lineman Bamidele Olaseni, defensive end Mika Tafua and linebacker Nephi Sewell participated in the Las Vegas located post-season out-bound senior bowl game.
This year the Shrine Game will take place on February 2, 2023.
