SALT LAKE CITY- Utah will be playing their final regular season game against Colorado next Saturday in Folsom Field. Kickoff time will be 2:00 pm MT on Pac-12 Networks.

Utah will be coming off a heart-breaking close loss where everything went wrong from them against the Oregon Ducks. The Buffaloes also had a rough outing last week but on the opposite side of the spectrum, suffering a whooping to Washington.

Both teams will be looking to redeem themselves and finish what has proven to be a tough 2022 season on a high note.

Rumble In The Rockies

Since moving to the Pac-12 in 2011, Utah and Colorado were paired together in hopes of re-starting what was an old rivalry that started in 1903. So far, the “rivalry” has been pretty one-sided with Utah leading the overall series 33-32-3. The Utes are also currently on a five-win streak in the Pac-12 era while leading the renewed series 8-2. The last time Colorado got a win against Utah was in 2016 in Boulder.

While the game has yet to get heated like a normal rivalry, the Buffaloes did get the renewed Pac-12 series off to an interesting start by beating Utah 17 – 14 in Salt Lake City when the Utes were on the brink of representing the Pac-12 South in the inaugural Pac-12 Championship game.

What Happens Next?

It’s still up-in-the-air as to what Utah will be doing to finish out the 2022 season. There is still an off chance they could be heading to Vegas to represent in the Pac-12 Championship Game against USC, but it will require a lot of Pac-12 Madness.

The Utes will be cheering for Oregon State to beat Oregon, Washington to handle Washington State and UCLA taking care of Cal, all while doing their part against Colorado. If and only if those things fall into place, Utah will be in Las Vegas the following week.
