Wizards Outshoot Jazz, Snap Four Game Win Streak

SALT LAKE CITY – The Washington Wizards snapped the Utah Jazz four-game win streak with a 121-112 victory.
The Jazz knocked down 10-17 threes to open the game, but connected on just 4-22 over the final 27 minutes of the game. The Wizards knocked down 16-36 from downtown.
With the loss, the Jazz drop to 10-4 on the season.
First Quarter
Jordan Clarkson scored the first five points of the game for the Jazz who otherwise struggled to get on the board early.
Malik Beasley came off the bench and sparked the Jazz with five points.

Jordan Goodwin knocked down all three of his three-point attempts to lead the Wizards with nine points.
After one the Jazz led the Wizards 30-28.
Second Quarter
The Jazz lead climbed to as much as nine early in the second quarter behind hot three-point shooting.
However, the team went cold to close the half missing their final five threes of the quarter.

The Wizards closed the half on a 12-0 to take the lead.
At the half, the Jazz trailed Washington 61-55.
Third Quarter
The Jazz weren’t able to stem their cold shooting after halftime missing their first five threes of the quarter.
As a result, the Wizards built their lead to 16 midway through the quarter.

Collin Sexton provided a spark for the Jazz off the bench scoring 13 off the bench, while Lauri Markkanen added 10.
The Jazz shot 1-10 from three in the quarter and after three, trailed the Wizards 92-84.
Fourth Quarter
The Jazz trimmed the Wizards lead to just six, but Washington answered each run with a three.
Kristaps Porzingis scored 31 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead the Wizards.

Clarkson scored 18 points to lead the Jazz but made just 2-8 from the three-point line.
The Jazz fell in Washington 121-112.
