This is one step up from last week’s No. 14 ranking.
Utah’s Latest Win Over Arizona
Despite being bit by the injury bug, the Utes pulled off an impressive win against the Arizona Wildcats on Saturday at Rice Eccles Stadium. The final score was 45-20.
Cam Rising started at quarterback, but the Utes dominated on the ground.
Utah running backs Ja’Quinden Jackson and Jaylon Glover made the most of their carries against Arizona Saturday night at Rice-Eccles Stadium in the Utes’ impressive 45-20 win. After weeks of showing flashes of what they could be, both players really shined for the Utes against the Wildcats, but both also unfortunately left the game early with injuries.

Utah head coach Kyle Whittingham said in his post-game press conference that the status of Jackson and Glover is unknown, and they will have a better idea Sunday of what exactly is going on.
“We’ll find out more tomorrow,” Whittingham said. “I know it was upper body with JJ and lower body with Jaylon. That’s all we can say right now and we’ll see how serious they are and get a better read on that tomorrow or Monday.”
Utah’s AP Ranking
The Utes fell from No. 12 to No. 13 in this week’s AP rankings.
