BYU soccer is the defending National Runner-Up
BYU comes into the 2022 NCAA Tournament as the defending National Runner-Up after falling to Florida State last season in the College Cup in penalty kicks. Jennifer Rockwood’s squad has a record of 10-2-6 this season.
Utah Valley enters the tournament with a 14-4-3 record. The Wolverines lost to New Mexico State yesterday in the WAC Tournament Championship game.
BYU has won five of its last six matches, with the lone non-victory coming in a scoreless tie to WCC Champion Santa Clara on October 29.
The BYU/Utah Valley winner will face the team that advances from the San Jose State/Stanford matchup. Perennial soccer powerhouse Stanford is a 3-seed in this year’s tournament.
