SALT LAKE CITY – Jazz guard Jordan Clarkson showed off his defense during the second half of Utah’s game against the Los Angeles Clippers.

The Clippers hosted the Jazz at Crypto.com Arena on Sunday, November 6.

With 10:58 left in the fourth quarter, Clippers center Ivica Zubac attempted to dunk the ball before Clarkson jumped into the air to swat the shot attempt.

The block kept the score at 87-84 Clippers.

Midway through the final quarter, Clarkson had a team-high 23 points on 8-15 shooting, including 6-9 from three. He added three rebounds, five assists, and a block while posting a plus-six rating during his first 30 minutes on the hardwood.

This season, Clarkson is averaging 17.4 points per game on 41.8 percent shooting and 36.3 percent from distance.

Utah’s game against Los Angeles is broadcast on AT&T SportsNet, NBA League Pass, and KSL Sports Zone.

Jazz vs. Clippers

After Friday’s win over the Lakers in Los Angeles, the Jazz moved to 7-3 on the season.

The Jazz have an opportunity to enjoy their win in Los Angeles on Saturday before facing the 5-4 Clippers at Crypto Arena.

The Clippers opened the season at 2-4, but have bounced back with three straight wins, including a victory on Friday night over the Spurs in San Antonio.

Los Angeles led the Spurs by as much as 17 in the first quarter, but watched that lead quickly wash away after a 40 point second quarter from San Antonio.

The Spurs led by as much as 10 before Paul George took over the game and led the Clippers to a 113-106 victory. George had 32 points on 11-16 shooting in the win.

Though the Clippers have won four straight, they haven’t been healthy. Kawhi Leonard has played a total of 42 minutes this season after returning from a knee injury that caused him to miss all of last season.

Leonard is believed to have avoided serious reinjury despite having missed the last five games of the year.

The Clippers three consecutive victories include back-to-back wins over the Houston Rockets last week.
