Jaguars LB Devin Lloyd Seals Win With Late Turnover Forced

SALT LAKE CITY – Former Utah star Devin Lloyd sealed a win for the Jacksonville Jaguars with a late fumble recovery against the Las Vegas Raiders.
The Jaguars hosted the Raiders at TIAA Bank Field on Sunday, November 6.
With 26 seconds left in the fourth quarter, Las Vegas faced a 4th & 17 from its own 18-yard line and trailed Jacksonville by seven points. The Raiders attempted to move the ball down the field with a number of laterals before Las Vegas running back Josh Jacobs tossed the ball and Lloyd grabbed it out of the air to seal victory for the Jaguars.
The Jaguars went into victory formation and beat the Raiders, 27-20.

Lloyd finished the game with one tackle, one pass breakup, one quarterback hit, and a fumble recovery.
With the win, the Jaguars improved their record to 3-6 this season, including 2-3 at home.
Jacksonville’s next game is on the road against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, November 13 at 11 a.m. (MDT) on CBS.

About Devin Lloyd
Lloyd was selected by the Jaguars with the No. 27 overall pick during the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft.
Prior to his time in the NFL, the Chula Vista, California native played at Utah from 2018-21.
As a senior in 2021, Lloyd recorded 111 total tackles, 66 solo tackles, eight sacks, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, four interceptions, six pass breakups, and two touchdowns.
He helped the Utes win their first Pac-12 title and earn a Rose Bowl Game bid for the first time in program history.
During his Utah career, Lloyd had 256 total tackles, 150 solo tackles, 16.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, five interceptions, eight pass breakups, and three touchdowns.
