SALT LAKE CITY – Utah Jazz legend Karl Malone was spotted at a Post Malone concert at Vivint Arena.
A video posted to Instagram shows Karl yelling and cheering Posty on from the floor of the downtown Salt Lake City arena, typically home to the Utah Jazz.
In the video, Post Malone dons a number 32, Purple Mountain Jersey with “Malone” on the back.

Kay Malone, Karl”s wife, posted this photo to her Instagram story thanking Post for a great beer pong game.

The concert was Tuesday, November 1 at Vivint Arena in downtown Salt Lake City.

Post Malone In Utah
It is no secret that Post loves Utah. He has a home in Cottonwood Heights and references the state of Utah and the Utah Jazz in song lyrics.
“750 Lambo in the Utah snow (skrrt),” is the lyrics to his hit song “Wow.”
Many fans in Utah share stories of meeting Post around the Salt Lake Valley at places Raising Canes and Walmart. In one interview he was asked why he likes Utah and he talked about how the beauty of the mountains and nature helps him make music
“It sounds so corny, but you feel like you are part of something bigger but you are so insignificant,” he said. “(in LA) there are a lot of people who kind of want to drain you.”

A Bigger Utah Legend: Karl Malone
While Post Malone may favor a younger audience, Utahns of all ages can come together on a love for Utah Jazz legend Karl Malone.
Malone, a two-time inductee of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, still shows love for the Utah Jazz by attending games and being involved in the community through partnerships with the Utah Food Bank.
