UHSAA Releases High School Football State Tournament Brackets

SALT LAKE CITY – After 10 weeks of the regular season, the state tournament brackets are set for high school football in the state of Utah.
The Utah High School Activities Association released the final RPI and the brackets for each classification on Saturday morning.
Here are the brackets for 1A-6A, along with the 8-player football tournament.
8-Player Bracket
All first-round games will be played on Friday, October 28 at 6 p.m. MT. The semifinals will take place at Southern Utah University on Thursday, November 3 at 9:00 a.m. and noon MT.
The championship game will be played on Friday, November 11 or Saturday, November 12. If the 4A championship game is played at Rice-Eccles Stadium, then the title game will be played on November 11 at Utah Tech. If the 4A title game is at Utah Tech, then the 8-player championship game will be on November 12 at Southern Utah.
Gunnison Valley is the No. 1 seed and will have a first-round bye.

1A Football Tournament Bracket
The first round will be played at home sites of the team with the higher seed on Friday, October 28. The semifinals will be played at Southern Utah on Friday, November 4 at 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. MT. The championship game will take place at Utah Tech on Friday, November 11.

No. 7 North Summit @ No. 2 Enterprise

2A State Tournament Bracket
The first round will be played on Friday, October 21 at the home sites of the higher seed. The quarterfinals will be at home sites on Friday, October 28. In the semifinals, the four teams will go to Southern Utah on Friday, November 4 at 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. MT. The state championship game will take place on Friday, November 11 at Utah Tech.
The top four seeds received a first-round bye. Those four seeds are South Summit, San Juan, Emery, and Beaver.

3A State Football Tournament Bracket
The first round will be played on Friday, October 21 at the home sites of the higher seed. The quarterfinals will be at home sites on Friday, October 28. In the semifinals, four teams will battle at Southern Utah on Saturday, November 5 at 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. MT. The championship game will be held at Utah Tech on Friday, November 11.
The top four seeds received a first-round bye. Those four teams include Juab, Morgan, Grantsville, and Canyon View.

The first round will be played on Friday, October 21 at the home sites of the higher seed. The quarterfinals will be at home sites on Friday, October 28. Semifinals will be played at Southern Utah on Saturday, November 5 at 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. MT. The 4A championship game will be on Friday, November 11 at 6:30 p.m. at either Rice-Eccles Stadium or Utah Tech.
The top three seeds received a first-round bye. Those teams include Crimson Cliffs, Desert Hills, and Dixie.

5A State Tournament Bracket
The first-round matchups will be played on Friday, October 21 at home sites, along with the second-round games on Friday, October 28. Quarterfinal action will be at home sites on Friday, November 4. The semifinals will be at Rice-Eccles Stadium on Friday, November 11 at 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. MT. The 5A championship game will be on Friday, November 18 at 2:00 p.m. at Rice-Eccles Stadium.
The top eight teams received a first-round bye. Those teams include Lehi, Timpview, Springville, Stansbury, Brighton, Bountiful, Spanish Fork, and Provo.

The first-round matchups will be played on Friday, October 21 at home sites, along with the second-round games on Friday, October 28. Quarterfinal action will be at home sites on Friday, November 4, or Saturday, November 5. The semifinals will be at Rice-Eccles Stadium on Thursday, November 10 at 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. MT. The 6A championship game will be held on Friday, November 18 at Rice-Eccles Stadium at 11:00 a.m. MT.
