Red Rocks Drop 2022-2023 Gymnastics Schedule

SALT LAKE CITY- The Red Rocks dropped their 2022-2023 schedule earlier Thursday signaling they will be wowing crowds at the Huntsman Center again soon. After finishing last season in third place at Nationals, the talented gymnasts will surely be in the title hunt once more in their upcoming season.

A Closer Look At The Red Rocks’ Schedule
The Red Rocks will compete on podium twice in the ’22-’23 season while competing against some of the best, most storied teams in the country in LSU, Georgia, current National Champion Oklahoma, and Pac-12 rival UCLA. Two of Utah’s home meets are already scheduled to air on ESPN2, and six on the Pac-12 Network with several meets still open for a television partner in the future.
Gymnastics fans will get their first peak at the Red Rocks on Friday, December 9th for their annual Red Rocks Preview. The season officially begins on January 6th at home against the LSU Tigers. The following weekend Utah Gymnastics will head a little further west to the Maverick Center for the Rio Tinto Best of Utah meet that features all of the local college gymnastics teams in the state of Utah.
Utah will take their first official road trip to Norman, Oklahoma to face National Champion Oklahoma.
The Red Rocks will then get into Pac-12 competition featuring back-to-back home meets against the Washington Huskies and UCLA Bruins.
After UCLA, the Utes will hop on a plane to Fort Worth, Texas for their second competition on podium in the Metroplex Challenge against Georgia and Illinois State. Utah will continue to be on the road the following weekend to take on Arizona State on February 20th, before finishing out the month of February at home against Cal. Arizona will be the final home meet on March 3rd with the final meet of the regular season taking place at Oregon State on March 11th.
The Pac-12 Conference Championship will be held on March 18th at the Maverick Center in West Valley, Utah. Regionals will then take place from March 29th- April 2nd in host cities Denver, Los Angeles, Norman, and Pittsburgh.
Nationals will be held in Fort Worth, Texas at Dickies Arena and will run through April 13th-15th.
