Former Jazz All-Star Attends Preseason Opener Against Raptors

SALT LAKE CITY – Former Utah Jazz star Carlos Boozer attended the team’s preseason-opening game against the Toronto Raptors.
The Raptors hosted the Jazz at Rogers Place in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada on Sunday, October 2.
Boozer attended the preseason opener and sported an Edmonton Oilers jersey while enjoying the contest.

The Alaska native played for the Jazz from 2004-10.
During his time in Utah, Boozer helped the Jazz qualify for the postseason four times. He helped the Jazz reach the Western Conference Finals in 2007.
During his Jazz tenure, Boozer was selected as an NBA All-Star in back-to-back seasons (2007, 2008). He received All-NBA Third Team honors for the 2007-08 season.

As a Jazzman, Boozer averaged 19.3 points per game on 54.4 percent shooting. He also recorded 10.5 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 1.0 steals, and 0.4 blocks per contest. He played in 354 games with the Jazz, including 340 starts.
Last season, the Jazz honored Boozer for his time as a Jazzman.

Jazz vs. Raptors
The Jazz opened preseason play on Sunday, against the Raptors in a game played in Edmonton as part of the NBA Canada Series.

After their game against the Raptors, the Jazz will travel to Portland to face Damian Lillard and the Trail Blazers on October 4 at 8 pm MT.
The Jazz will conclude their preseason schedule at home, hosting the San Antonio Spurs on October 11 and the Dallas Mavericks on October 14. Both games will tip off at Vivint Arena at 7 pm MT.
The regular season opens for the Jazz against the Denver Nuggets on October 19 at Vivint Arena.

The team released four jerseys over the summer that will be worn by the team during the upcoming season including white, black, yellow, and purple throwback mountain uniforms.
