SALT LAKE CITY – Former Utah Utes and current Baltimore Ravens safety Marcus Williams recovered a fumble by the Buffalo Bills for his fourth takeaway of the season.

The Ravens hosted the Bills at M&T Bank Stadium on Sunday, October 2.

With 28 seconds left in the first quarter, Bills running back Devin Singletary was stripped of the football and Williams jumped on the pigksin amid a pile of players at the Buffalo 36-yard line.

The Ravens owned a 14-6 lead at the time of Williams’ recovery.

Baltimore added to its lead on the following possession thanks for a Justin Tucker field goal.

At halftime, the Ravens had a 20-10 lead. Williams had one tackle and fumble recovery at the break.

Williams entered the Week 4 game with 27 total tackles, 21 solo tackles, three interceptions, and four pass breakups this season.

The safety is in his sixth NFL season and first with Baltimore. This offseason, the former Utah safety signed with the Ravens after five seasons with the New Orleans Saints.

The former Utah safety entered the game with career totals of 348 total tackles, 260 solo tackles, one sack, three forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, 18 interceptions, 42 pass breakups, and a touchdown.
