Crimson Cliffs Stomps Pine View For Seventh Win

SALT LAKE CITY – The Crimson Cliffs Mustangs stomped the Pine View Panthers, 40-14.

Region 10

No. 18 Crimson Cliffs 40 @ Pine View 14

Crimson Cliffs limited Pine View to only two scores in the second quarter. Mustangs quarterback Steele Barben tossed four touchdown passes in the game. With the win, Crimson Cliffs improved to a 7-1 record and Pine View fell to 0-6.

Here are all of the results in the 4A classification from the eighth week of the 2022 high school football season.

Desert Hills 49 @ Hurricane 0

The Desert Hills Thunder rolled to a 49-0 win over the Hurricane Tigers. Kona Crowell and Simon Fuailetolo each scored two touchdowns for the Thunder. With the result, Desert Hills moved to a 5-3 record and Hurricane dropped to a 1-7 record.

Region 11

Green Canyon 14 @ Logan 28

The Logan Grizzlies beat the Green Canyon Wolves on Friday, 28-14. After a 7-7 first quarter, the Grizzlies outscored the Wolves 21-7 over the next 24 mintues of game time. Logan’s Tytan Mason ran for four touchdowns in the game. With the win, Logan improved to a 4-4 record and Green Canyon fell to 1-7.

Mountain Crest 14 @ Sky View 35

The Sky View Bobcats beat the Mountain Crest Mustangs, 35-14. Following a 7-7 opening quarter, the Bobcats outscored the Mustangs by 21 points over the final three quarters. Brevin Egbert had four rushing touchdowns for Sky View. With the win, the Mustangs fell to a 4-4 record and the Bobcats improved to a 4-4 record.

Ridgeline 28 @ Bear River 0

The Ridgeline RiverHawks defeated the Bear River Bears, 28-0. Nate Dahle tossed four touchdown passes for the RiverHawks. With the win, Ridgeline improved to a 5-3 record and Bear River dropped to 2-6.
