Vaughn’s First Receiving Touchdown Gives Aggies Life Against UNLV

LOGAN, Utah – With the Aggies trailing 24-9 and looking for a spark, Logan Bonner connected with Terrell Vaughn for the Aggies second touchdown of the day.
The Aggies (1-2) are hosting the much improved UNLV Rebels (2-1) at Maverik Stadium on Saturday, September 24.
Bonner had thrown interceptions on the Aggies previous two possessions and the boo birds at Maverik Stadium were threatening to make an appearance for the second week in a row.

Instead, Bonner calmly captained an eight play, 75-yard drive before finding Vaughn in the corner of the end zone for the score.
Bonner is 9-for-16 for 113 yards with two touchdown and two interceptions. Vaughn now has three catches for 30 yards and a score.
With the touchdown, USU trails UNLV 24-16 late in the first half.

Utah State has named five captains for this game. Graduate senior wide receiver Brian Cobbs; junior tight end Joshua Sterzer; junior punter Stephen Kotsanlee; senior defensive tackle Hale Motu’apuaka; and graduate senior safety Hunter Reynolds.
