PROVO, Utah – BYU basketball unveiled new white uniforms for the upcoming 2022-23 season. The Cougars announced the new uniform identity on Tuesday night.
Instead of Brigham Young on the uniform, it reads “BYU” on the front in white lettering. The numbers on the jersey are in royal blue.

Since 2015, BYU has worn uniforms that featured mountains on the shorts and “Brigham Young” on the front of the jersey.
BYU is led by coach Mark Pope, who enters his fourth season with the program. Last season, the Cougars finished with a third round exit in the NIT. This year, BYU features a new roster with a bunch of newcomers including Coastal Carolina guard Rudi Williams.
