Blackmon is currently in his third NFL season, all with the Colts. Lloyd’s second career NFL game was Jacksonville’s win over Indianapolis.
The former Utes played on defense together at the University of Utah from 2017-19.
After a standout career as a defensive back at Utah from 2016-19, Blackmon was selected by the Colts with the No. 85 overall pick during the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft. During his three seasons in the league, Blackmon has recorded 78 total tackles, 63 solo tackles, two forced fumbles, two interceptions, and eight pass breakups in 23 games played. He missed most of the 2021 season because of an Achilles injury.
Lloyd was a star linebacker for the Utes from 2017-21. After his time at Utah, Lloyd was selected by the Jaguars with the No. 27 overall pick during the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft. In his first two NFL games, Lloyd has posted 17 total tackles, 11 solo tackles, one interception, and three pass breakups.
In Jacksonville’s win over Indianapolis, Blackmon had one tackle and a pass breakup. Lloyd finished the game with a team-high six total tackles, three solo tackles, three pass breakups, and his first career interception.
