Utah Jazz Draft Pick Asset Tracker

SALT LAKE CITY – After a series of blockbuster trades, the Utah Jazz are well stocked with future first-round draft picks and pick swaps.

Through 2029 the Jazz have amassed a number of picks from teams across the league as they look to build a championship contender.

With the number of new assets in the team’s control, here’s a running list of the draft picks the Jazz own over the next seven seasons.

Picks shown in italics are outgoing trade assets.

2024:

First Round

• Least favorable 2024 first-round pick from the OKC, LAC, HOU, or UTA (Kelly Olynyk, Ochai Agbaji)
• Jazz owe OKC first-round pick, protected 1-10 (Derrick Favors)
  • Pick is protected 1-10 in 2025, 1-8 in 2026 before dissolving 

Second Round

• Most favorable 2024 second-round pick from WAS or MEM (Simone Fontecchio)
• Jazz owe NYK, IND, or MEM second-round pick (Jae Crowder)

2025:

First Round

• Own 2025 first-round pick
• MIN unprotected 2025 first-round pick (Rudy Gobert)
• CLE unprotected 2025 first-round pick (Donovan Mitchell)

Second Round

• Jazz owe MIN second-round pick (Mike Conley)

2026:

First Round

• Own 2026 first-round pick
• First-round draft swap with MIN (Rudy Gobert)
• First-round draft swap with CLE (Donovan Mitchell)

Second Round

• Mem 2026 second-round pick, protected 31-42 (Jared Butler)
• Jazz owe MIN second-round pick (Mike Conley)

2027

First Round

• Own 2027 first-round pick
• MIN unprotected 2027 first-round pick (Rudy Gobert)
• CLE unprotected 2027 first-round pick (Donovan Mitchell)
• LAL 2027 first-round pick, protected 1-4 (Mike Conley)

Second Round

• Jazz owe IND second-round pick (Rayjon Tucker)

2028:

First Round

• Own 2028 first-round pick
• First-round draft swap with CLE (Donovan Mitchell)

2029:

First Round

• Own 2029 first-round pick
• CLE unprotected 2029 first-round pick (Donovan Mitchell)
• MIN 2029 first-round pick, protected 1-5 (Rudy Gobert)

Second Round

• Own 2029 second-round pick

Total Numbers

In total, the Jazz own 13 first-round picks outright, and a 14th depending on where they finish in the standings between 2024-2026 with the pick they owe to the Oklahoma City Thunder (Derrick Favors). If the pick doesn’t convey by 2026, the debt is forgiven.

The Jazz also own three second-round draft picks between 2025-2029.
