SALT LAKE CITY- The Utes have opted to go all white with their uniform as they prepare to travel to Gainesville to take on Florida in the Swamp. Utah’s equipment Twitter and Instagram accounts posted photos and video of wide receiver Solomon Enis in the uniform choice.

It was revealed beforehand by the Utes Equipment staff that Utah would be wearing white helmets, and obviously being away the jersey had to be white as well. They could have gone with red or black pants, but opted instead to go monochromatic in their season opener.
Taking A Closer Look At The All Whites
Utah’s look is very clean and fresh featuring the throwback numbers and stripes on the sleeves. Instead of the drum and feather logo, the helmets feature the red interlocking Us logo. They also went with red facemasks and the “22 Forever” decal on the back to finish the look.

Utah’s look for Florida is almost identical to what they wore to play in their first-ever Rose Bowl against Ohio State except for the custom helmet decal that featured a rose nestled between the interlocking Us. That particular helmet design was added this past summer into the Rose Bowl Museum inside the stadium due to it’s iconic look and the incredible story behind the team that wore it.

While the Rose Bowl was an epic game coming down to the wire, the Utes will hope to be on the winning side of their contest with Florida in the mostly same uniforms. Many project the Utes as a possible College Football Playoff contender, and a win on Saturday would go a long way to cementing that thought for the rest of the season.
