‘Prayers, Blessings Have Worked’, Injured Utah Little Leaguer Provides Update

SALT LAKE CITY – Utah Little Leaguer, Easton Oliverson, updated supporters on Instagram Tuesday, saying that all of the prayers and blessings are working.
“Thank you for all of your prayers. Please keep praying for me as I continue to get better. I know that prayers and blessings have worked and that heavenly father is blessing me,” he said in an Instagram post.

Oliverson underwent emergency surgery after falling from a bunk bed in Williamsport. He needed to be air lifted to the hospital. His uncle confirmed that his brain was reacting well following the procedure and that he is currently located in the intensive care unit of the hospital but no additional information is known regarding his status.
Oliverson is listed as a pitcher and outfielder for the Snow Canyon Baseball team who recently became the first team from the state of Utah to ever qualify for the Little League World Series which is held annually in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
Support has been pouring in for Oliverson from all over the country, especially in Utah. Even the big leaguers took notice, LA Dodgers super start Mookie Betts posted a video with well wishes for the little leaguer.

“Hey Easton, this is Mookie Betts,” the Dodgers star said. “I just want you to know that we are praying for you, thinking of you and I hope to see you soon my man.”
