No. 5 Timpview Gets Blowout Road Win Over No. 19 Crimson Cliffs

SALT LAKE CITY – The fifth-ranked Timpview Thunderbirds went to Southern Utah and picked up a blowout 49-14 win over No. 19 Crimson Cliffs on Friday.
It was all Timpview from the beginning. They held a 35-7 lead at the halftime break. Helaman Casuga threw for four touchdowns, while Bringham Richards added one passing TD. The duo connected with Jared Esplin twice and once each to Tei Nacua, Isaiah Vaea and Jaxon Allred. Quezon Villa and Vaea each ran in a TD for the Thunderbirds.

Canyon View 21 (3A) @ Cedar City 28
The Reds get their first victory of the season taking a 28-7 lead into the half and surviving a furious Canyon View comeback. Koden Lunt throws for three touchdowns in the victory.
Ridgeline 24 @ Snow Canyon 0
The Riverhawks shut out the Warriors. Nate Dahle throws for 271 yards and a touchdown in the victory.
Salem Hills 31 (5A) @ Pine View 14
A second half in which Salem Hills outscore Pine View 21-7 is ultimately the difference in a win for the Skyhawks. Jued Hughs runs for two scores on the night and Jackson Nelson throws one touchdown pass.
Dixie 24 @ Palm Desert (CA) 14
A nice win in California for the Flyers. Jalen Schultz threw touchdown passes to Blake Watson and Jaxon Barben. Seth Takau ran in a touchdown for Dixie.
