SALT LAKE CITY – Joe Ingles and his family are officially saying goodbye to Utah after listing their Salt Lake City home for an eye-popping $3.5 million.

The Utah Jazz guard’s house, located at 2828 E. Kennedy Drive near Emigration Canyon, was built in 1986 and was listed on Tuesday.

Ingles former home features six bedrooms and five and a half baths and is 6,040 square feet on a half-acre lot.

“Nestled at the edge of Emigration Canyon and the foothills of Salt Lake City, this classic Cape Cod 2-story sits on nearly half an acre in the prestigious St. Mary’s neighborhood,” according to the listing. “Located across from a charming neighborhood park, this property enjoys panoramic views of the surrounding canyon and mountains.”

The property history shows the house was last purchased in 2020 and was briefly listed in June before being pulled off the market.

Though Ingles is selling the house, he is apparently leaving a bit of Jazz history at the house behind.

“The sprawling backyard serves as the crown jewel of this property with a pergola covered patio, manicured lawn and garden beds and a custom Utah Jazz sport court,” the listing reads.

The mortgage payment is estimated at roughly $15,500 a month.

Ingles Made A Home In Utah

Ingles and his family had been a staple in Utah, and a fan favorite over the last eight seasons thanks to his longshot story of making the Jazz.

The Australian guard signed with the Jazz after being waived by the Los Angeles Clippers on the final day of the preseason but quickly worked his way up into being a rotation regular.

Ingles played 590 games for the Jazz, including 313 starts. During his time in Utah, the guard averaged 8.6 points, 3.2 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 0.2 blocks, and 0.9 steals in 25.7 minutes per game.

After suffering a season-ending ACL injury in January, the Jazz traded Ingles to the Portland Trail Blazers for Nickeil Alexander-Walker and Juancho Hernangomez.

Ingles never suited up for the Blazers and signed a one-year, $6.5 million deal with the Milwaukee Bucks during the offseason.
